A unique and popular choice! The Decaf Kentucky Coffeetree is a Kentucky Coffeetree that exhibits much better branching than the species. This native cultivar consistently produces buds and branches on new growth, which leads to a much more desirable, well-branched tree at a young age. The branches, twigs, and leaflets have a finer texture than the species. The leaflets emerge with a caramel coloration into early summer. The Decaf produces only male flowers and has not shown a tendency to produce fruit, making it cleaner than the Kentucky Coffeetree!
