Description:
A big, bold specimen perennial, ligularia produces a mound of large, toothed leaves from which rise large spikes of yellow flowers on purplish stems in midsummer. Best planted in part sun with moist soil. In fact, if the soil is not moist enough you will find the plant will look wilted during the heat of the day and will recover later in the day.
